Stampin’ Up Notes of Kindness Card Kit Alternatives – Part 1 (Keeping It Simple)

One comment

After spending the afternoon yesterday cleaning and organizing my craft room, I rediscovered the Notes of Kindness Card Kit that had gotten buried in the “Things To Do” pile. Now that everything is organized, I couldn’t resist opening the box and playing with the pieces in the kit.

I didn’t wander too far from the suggested designs for the first round of cards. I wanted to keep things simple to see how “complete” the kit truly is. The only “extras” that I pulled out to complete the cards were snail adhesive, and a couple of ink pads (Blushing Bride and Blackberry Bliss).

Overall, I really liked the kit. The card bases are cute and colorful. The envelopes are all lined with the pink and white striped paper. The embellishments are straightforward and easily mixed and matched between the different card bases. The colored pieces are actually stickers and don’t need any adhesive. I think this kit would be a great gift for a beginner stamper. They can choose to follow the directions or branch out as they feel comfortable.

Stay tuned for Part 2 (Getting Complicated)…

  1. Hi, just found your post on the notes of kindness kit and wondered if you had done part 2, I just pulled my box out today and I would love to “case” a couple of these cards. I’m trying to get my stash of ok boxes and others kids, so I can have room to add more, later. Thank you
