A lifelong love of making
Crafting has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and many of my favorite memories began with my mom. She has always been incredibly creative and encouraged me to explore new skills, experiment with different materials, and enjoy making things by hand.
Over the years, we have enjoyed sewing, stitching, scrapbooking, card making, and cross-stitching together. Those early interests eventually grew into a love for needlepoint, embroidery, paper crafting, and needlepoint finishing. We always seem to have another idea waiting—a project we’re planning, one already in progress, or something new we can’t wait to try.
That lifelong curiosity is still at the heart of Crafts by Jennifer. I enjoy combining traditional handwork with fresh ideas and helping other makers bring their own creative visions to life.
Creativity worth celebrating
My mom and I have also had the pleasure of entering our work in the annual Texas State Fair Arts & Crafts competition. Sharing that experience has made each project even more meaningful.
Our work received an honorable mention in 2023 for a stitched and finished needlepoint weighted box. In 2024, we earned second place for a stitched and finished needlepoint picture and third place for a needlepoint accessory featuring a custom finish and painted acrylic tray. In 2025, our projects earned first place for a stitched and finished weighted box, second place for a stitched needlepoint picture, and third place for another needlepoint accessory that included stitching, finishing, and a custom acrylic tray. In 2026, our projects earned first place for a stitched Thanksgiving decoration, second place for a needlepoint purse, and third place for a needlepoint weighted figure finish.
The 2025 blue-ribbon weighted box was also named runner-up for Best in Show—an honor that meant so much to us. Every ribbon represents many hours of planning, stitching, problem-solving, and careful finishing, but the best part is still creating and celebrating these projects together.

Crafts by Jennifer has grown into a one-stop creative shop for festive and everyday cards, crafting supplies, and needlepoint services.
You’ll find handmade cards for holidays, celebrations, and everyday moments; paper and other supplies for your own projects; and needlepoint finishing services designed to turn a completed canvas into something you can display, use, or give as a meaningful gift.
We are also happy to help with special requests. Some of the most enjoyable projects begin with a customer asking, “Could we make something like this?” If you’re searching for an item that isn’t listed or have an idea you would like to customize, please reach out. I may already have what you need, or we can brainstorm the possibilities together.

My mom and I are exploring the idea of offering quarterly card-making and needlepoint-finishing classes. These relaxed gatherings would be a fun way to learn a new skill, work on a project, and enjoy creating with others.
