The plan was to start pretty simple and then work my way up to more complicated layouts.
For these two, I created vanilla cards with early espresso rectangles to frame the images from June’s Paper Pumpkin. The first has a second frame with costal cabana cardstock embossed with the seaside textured embossing folder (retired).
The next one was fairly simple but involved more coloring. The seahorse is stamped in Pretty Peacock and then colored with the Pretty Peacock Stampin’ blends of the same color. I placed a pearl for his eye from the retired artisan collection. The brain coral was colored on the reverse with the Lovely Lipstick Stampin’ blends. The fishing net is from the Under the Seas Dies. It was cut from Early Espresso cardstock. Inner sand dollar was stamped in Costal Cabana.
The final creation for the day featured the octopus from the Sea of Textures bundle. The little fish are one of the dies in the bundle. The glittered starfish and sand dollar, coral, wood cutout, sentiment and string are all from the June Paper Pumpkin. The paper is retired DSP.
Hope you feel inspired!
