Thanksgiving is quickly approaching, and stores already have Christmas decorations everywhere! I wanted to start with something simple for the holidays and had lots of paper scraps just laying around just waiting for a project. The end result is this casual striped Thanksgiving card that will bring a smile to anyone’s face.

Obviously, I started by sorting through all of the strips of paper that I had in my scraps box. I pulled out all the fall colors and stamped them with the various leaves. Then, I glued them to the card front (crumb cake cardstock) to create the striped thanksgiving card look.
The small leaves are stamped and punched. Sentiment was stamped and then cut out with the rectangle dies. I used gold metallic pearls in the corners for just a small accent.

The center of the card is just blank, but can easily be decorated with more leaves or left as it is to write a longer message to your friend/loved one.
